What is FairLoop and how does it work?
FairLoop is an online marketplace for the fairground industry.
You can create listings for sales, free dates, and job vacancies, respond to listings, and chat with other users.
You can also feature a listing on the homepage for an additional fee.
Creating a listing
Creating a listing on FairLoop is simple. Below you can read how to create a listing and which listing type to choose.
To create a listing, you first need to log in or create an account.
On a computer, you do this via Log in or Sign up at the top right of the navigation bar.
On your phone, open the menu in the top left using the icon with three lines, then choose Log in or Sign up.
You can create an account and log in using your email address or via Google or Facebook.
When creating a listing, you first choose the listing type. FairLoop has 4 listing types.
1. Sale (Contact seller)
Interested buyers contact you directly through the chat.
The sale, payment, and transport are handled directly between buyer and seller. FairLoop is not involved in the transaction.
This listing type is intended for large equipment such as rides, game trailers, and vehicles, or for large quantities such as plush, prizes, or packaging.
Viewing, pickup, and payment are agreed between both parties. Payment usually takes place on location.
No sales commission applies to this listing type.
2. Sale (Buy now)
With this listing type, payment is handled through FairLoop. Buyers can purchase the item directly through the platform, comparable to an online store transaction.
This listing type is intended for items that are shipped or picked up and where payment is made online through FairLoop, such as parts, packaging, or a box of plush toys.
When you choose this listing type, the buyer pays directly through FairLoop. Payment can be made with iDeal, soon WERO, Klarna, or credit card.
After payment, you as the seller must ship the item or arrange a moment with the buyer for pickup.
For this listing type, a sales commission of 5% applies.
3. Jobs
Use this listing type to post a job vacancy for fairground work.
4. Available dates
Choose this listing type when you want to offer free dates. For example, if a ride or game trailer is not scheduled for two weeks, you can offer those free dates here.
Finalizing your listing
Select the correct category, fill in the listing details, and add photos. Click Publish listing. Your listing will be online as soon as possible.
Featured listings
Featured listings are paid listings that are visible on the FairLoop homepage for a minimum of two weeks.
With a featured listing, you can give extra visibility to your FairLoop listing, present a ride, or promote your service or assortment within the fairground industry.
Featured listings are requested via email.

Viewing and replying to listings
All listings on FairLoop can be viewed without an account.
If you want to respond to a listing, contact another user, or add a listing to your favorites, you need to be logged in.
Contact takes place through the chat within FairLoop. Through the chat, you can ask questions, negotiate the price, or make arrangements for viewing, transport, or further handling.
Costs
Creating an account on FairLoop is free, as is creating listings.
Only for sales where the payment is processed through FairLoop, the seller pays a commission of 5%. For all other listing types, no commission is charged.
Our role
FairLoop is not a general marketplace, but focused on the fairground industry.
FairLoop only provides the platform where users can buy and sell. Agreements and negotiations take place directly between users.
FairLoop is not a party to agreements between users.
